Aquaponics is an interesting combination of aquaculture and hydroponics that combines water farming with horticulture practices to get greater productivity from limited resources – or a bigger bang for your buck. There are a lot of good sources of info on aquaponics on the web such as at Nelson & Pade http://www.aquaponics.com/. Also, check with your local agricultural extension services, colleges and universities, and aquaculture trade associations. A great online resource for all things aquaculture related is AquaNIC at http://www.aquanic.org/.
